What do you Hope for?

Dont hope for satisfaction and pleasure in food and the desires of this life. We are travellers, these comforts are not everlasting, our Destination is the next life, where the pleasures are complete

Rather hope for comfort in the word of the Most Merciful, in Standing in front of Him, the Loving, alone at night, prostrating to Him, while the world sleeps.

 

 

 فَاذْكُرُونِي أَذْكُرْكُمْ وَاشْكُرُوا لِي وَلَا تَكْفُرُونِ

152 Therefore remember Me (by praying, glorifying), I will remember you, and be grateful to Me (for My countless Favours on you) and never be ungrateful to Me. 

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اسْتَعِينُوا بِالصَّبْرِ وَالصَّلَاةِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ مَعَ الصَّابِرِينَ
 

153 O you who believe! Seek help in patience and As-Salat (the prayer). Truly! Allah is with As-Sabirun (the patient).
